Then we invite you to connect at our virtual BIPOC Circus Educators (ACE members only) meetup! This group is dedicated to networking and mutual support in our BIPOC circus education community.

Facilitator: Copper Santiago

Copper Santiago is a multidisciplinary artist and circus performer currently paying rent in Philadelphia. Born and raised in New York City, Copper grew up training flying trapeze and has traveled extensively to study circus, notably at the New England Center for Circus arts and the Circadium School of Contemporary Circus. Copper has performed on both sides of the Atlantic and is currently enrolled at Goddard college pursuing a BFA in socially engaged art. She makes work from her inherited, and cultivated hunger for agency and expression. Her favorite food is arugula.
